These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and DefiLords governing your access to and use of the DefiLords platform, website, and associated services (collectively, the "Platform"). By accessing or using any part of the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms in their entirety.
By accessing or using the DefiLords Platform, you represent and warrant that you possess the legal capacity and authority to enter into these Terms and to use the Platform in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. You must meet all of the following eligibility requirements:
You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction of residence, whichever is greater. If you are accessing the Platform on behalf of a legal entity, you must have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms, and "you" in these Terms refers to both you as an individual and the entity you represent.
The Platform is not available to persons or entities who reside in, are citizens of, are incorporated in, or have a registered office in any jurisdiction where the access to or use of the Platform would be contrary to applicable law or regulation, or which would subject DefiLords to any registration or licensing requirement within such jurisdiction. You must not be a resident, citizen, national, or agent of, or an entity organized, incorporated, or doing business in the following restricted territories:
United States of America and its territories; Belarus; Burundi; Central African Republic; Cuba; Democratic Republic of the Congo; Iran; Iraq; Libya; Myanmar (Burma); Nicaragua; North Korea; Russia; Somalia; South Sudan; Sudan; Syria; Venezuela; Yemen; Zimbabwe; or the Crimea, Donetsk People's Republic, or Luhansk People's Republic regions of Ukraine.
You represent that you are not, and are not acting on behalf of, any person or entity that is subject to economic or trade sanctions administered or enforced by any governmental authority, including but not limited to the U.S. Department of Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), the United Nations Security Council, the European Union, Her Majesty's Treasury, or any other relevant sanctions authority (collectively, "Sanctions"). You are not identified on any list of prohibited or restricted parties, including the OFAC Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons List, or any similar list maintained by any other Sanctions authority.
You agree to comply with all applicable domestic and international laws, statutes, ordinances, regulations, and all applicable contracts and regulations relating to your use of the Platform. You acknowledge that your use of blockchain technology and digital assets may be subject to reporting, licensing, and registration requirements in your jurisdiction, and you are solely responsible for complying with all such requirements.
Important Notice: DefiLords reserves the right to restrict or refuse access to the Platform to any user, at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to suspected violation of these eligibility requirements. We may employ various technical measures, including geolocation blocking, to enforce these restrictions.
DefiLords provides a decentralized finance platform that enables users to interact with various blockchain-based protocols and smart contracts. It is critical that you understand the nature and limitations of the services we provide.
The Platform functions as an interface that aggregates, displays, and facilitates user interaction with decentralized protocols deployed on various blockchain networks. The Platform provides users with tools and information to engage in activities including, but not limited to, staking, yield farming, liquidity provision, token swapping, and participation in decentralized governance mechanisms.
The Platform operates by presenting users with information from public blockchain data and enabling users to generate and submit transaction messages to blockchain networks through compatible wallet applications. All blockchain transactions are executed directly between users and the respective blockchain protocols without the intermediation of DefiLords.
DefiLords operates on a strictly non-custodial basis. We do not hold, control, store, or have access to your private keys, seed phrases, digital assets, or funds at any time. You retain full and exclusive control and responsibility for your wallet and all associated digital assets. All transactions initiated through the Platform are executed directly on the blockchain and are processed by decentralized network validators, not by DefiLords.
Because we do not custody assets, we cannot reverse, cancel, or refund any transactions after they have been broadcast to the blockchain network. Once a transaction is confirmed on the blockchain, it is permanent and irreversible.
DefiLords expressly disclaims any role as a broker, dealer, financial institution, creditor, exchange, money services business, custodian, wallet provider, financial advisor, or fiduciary. We do not:
The Platform provides interfaces to interact with third-party smart contract protocols that are deployed on various blockchain networks. These protocols operate autonomously according to their programmed logic and are not controlled, operated, or maintained by DefiLords. Smart contracts are immutable once deployed, and DefiLords has no ability to modify, pause, or reverse the operation of these protocols.
While we strive to provide accurate information about these protocols, we make no representations or warranties regarding the functionality, security, or suitability of any smart contract protocol accessible through the Platform. You are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the operation and risks of any protocol you choose to interact with.
DefiLords makes no guarantee regarding the availability, uptime, or continued operation of the Platform. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Platform at any time, temporarily or permanently, with or without notice, for any reason or no reason, including for maintenance, upgrades, security concerns, or changes in regulatory requirements.
As a user of the Platform, you acknowledge and accept full responsibility for your actions and the security of your digital assets. You agree to the following obligations:
You are solely responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of your wallet credentials, including private keys, seed phrases, passwords, and any other authentication methods. You must implement appropriate security measures to protect your wallet from unauthorized access, including using strong passwords, enabling multi-factor authentication where available, and storing private keys and seed phrases securely offline.
You acknowledge that anyone who gains access to your private keys or seed phrase will have full control over your digital assets. DefiLords will never request your private keys or seed phrase, and you should never share this information with anyone. Loss or compromise of your private keys may result in permanent loss of your digital assets, and DefiLords cannot and will not assist in recovering lost or stolen assets.
You are responsible for carefully reviewing and verifying all transaction details before authorizing any transaction through your wallet. This includes verifying recipient addresses, transaction amounts, network fees, and smart contract interactions. Blockchain transactions are irreversible once confirmed, and DefiLords cannot cancel, reverse, or refund any completed transaction.
You acknowledge that transacting with incorrect addresses, amounts, or contract parameters may result in permanent loss of assets, and you assume all risks associated with such errors.
To the extent that you provide any information to DefiLords, you represent and warrant that such information is accurate, complete, and current. You agree to promptly update any information you have provided to ensure its continued accuracy. Providing false or misleading information may result in termination of your access to the Platform.
In connection with your use of the Platform, you agree that you will not:
You are solely responsible for determining what, if any, taxes apply to your transactions and activities conducted through the Platform. DefiLords is not responsible for determining the taxes that apply to your transactions. You are responsible for withholding, collecting, reporting, and remitting the correct taxes to the appropriate tax authorities.
Critical Warning: Violations of these responsibilities may result in immediate termination of your access to the Platform, and DefiLords reserves the right to report any suspected illegal activities to relevant authorities. DefiLords shall have no liability for any losses resulting from unauthorized access to your wallet or failure to properly secure your credentials.
Use of the Platform and interaction with blockchain protocols involves various fees and costs. You acknowledge and agree to bear responsibility for all applicable fees associated with your use of the Platform.
DefiLords charges a platform fee of 1.5% on rewards generated through staking, yield farming, and other revenue-generating activities conducted through the Platform. This fee is automatically deducted from your earned rewards before distribution. The platform fee supports the ongoing development, maintenance, security, and improvement of the Platform and its services.
Platform fees are subject to change at DefiLords' discretion, with advance notice provided through the Platform or via email to registered users. Continued use of the Platform following any fee changes constitutes acceptance of the modified fee structure.
All blockchain transactions require payment of network transaction fees (commonly referred to as "gas fees") to blockchain network validators. These fees are determined by the blockchain network based on factors including network congestion, transaction complexity, and transaction priority, and are not controlled by, collected by, or paid to DefiLords.
Network fees are highly variable and can fluctuate significantly based on network conditions. You are responsible for reviewing and accepting the network fee before authorizing any transaction. Failed transactions will still incur network fees, which are non-refundable. DefiLords does not guarantee that transactions will be confirmed by the network, nor does it control the speed of transaction confirmation.
Many smart contract protocols accessible through the Platform impose their own fees for various operations such as token swaps, liquidity provision, borrowing, or staking. These fees are determined by the respective protocol operators and are subject to change without notice by DefiLords. You are responsible for understanding the fee structure of any protocol you interact with.
Third-party protocol fees may include, but are not limited to: swap fees, liquidity provider fees, performance fees, withdrawal fees, early unstaking penalties, and protocol governance fees. DefiLords does not receive any portion of third-party protocol fees.
All fees paid in connection with the Platform, including platform fees, network fees, and third-party protocol fees, are final and non-refundable. This includes fees associated with failed transactions, duplicate transactions, or transactions sent to incorrect addresses. DefiLords has no ability to reverse blockchain transactions or issue refunds for any fees incurred.
DefiLords endeavors to display estimated fees before you authorize a transaction, but these estimates may not reflect the actual final fees due to blockchain network conditions, transaction complexity, or other factors. You acknowledge that actual fees may differ from displayed estimates, and you agree to pay all fees regardless of whether they match the estimate.
The Platform integrates with and provides access to various third-party services, protocols, applications, and content that are not owned, controlled, or operated by DefiLords. Your interaction with these third-party services is subject to additional terms and carries additional risks.
The Platform requires you to connect a compatible third-party wallet application (such as MetaMask, Phantom, WalletConnect, or similar services) to interact with blockchain protocols. These wallet providers are independent third parties not affiliated with DefiLords. Your use of any wallet application is subject to that provider's terms of service and privacy policy.
DefiLords makes no representations or warranties regarding the security, functionality, reliability, or suitability of any third-party wallet provider. You are solely responsible for selecting a wallet provider, maintaining the security of your wallet, and understanding the wallet provider's terms, fees, and limitations.
The Platform provides interfaces to interact with third-party decentralized finance protocols and smart contracts deployed on various blockchain networks. These protocols operate independently of DefiLords and are governed by their own terms, rules, and governance mechanisms. DefiLords does not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for the operation, security, or performance of any third-party protocol.
Third-party protocols may contain bugs, vulnerabilities, or design flaws that could result in loss of funds or other adverse consequences. Smart contracts are immutable once deployed, and neither you nor DefiLords can reverse their operation. You acknowledge that interaction with third-party protocols carries inherent risks, and you assume all such risks.
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, applications, or content. These links are provided for your convenience only, and DefiLords does not endorse, control, or assume responsibility for any third-party site or content. Access to and use of third-party sites is at your own risk and subject to the terms and policies of those sites.
The Platform may utilize third-party data providers and APIs to display token prices, market data, protocol statistics, and other information. DefiLords makes no representation or warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of such third-party data. Price data and market information displayed on the Platform is for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for making financial decisions.
The availability of any third-party service, protocol, or content through the Platform does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, or warranty by DefiLords. You acknowledge that DefiLords has not conducted due diligence on third-party services and makes no representation regarding their legality, security, functionality, or suitability for any purpose.
You hereby release and hold harmless DefiLords from any and all claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from or related to your use of third-party services, protocols, wallets, or content accessed through or in connection with the Platform. You acknowledge that DefiLords shall have no liability for any losses resulting from third-party actions, failures, vulnerabilities, or breaches.
The Platform and all associated intellectual property rights are owned by or licensed to DefiLords. These Terms grant you only limited rights to access and use the Platform, and no ownership rights are transferred to you.
All content, technology, software, code, designs, graphics, interfaces, trademarks, logos, and other materials provided through the Platform (collectively, "Platform Content") are protected by intellectual property laws, including copyright, trademark, patent, and trade secret laws. The Platform Content is owned by DefiLords or our licensors and is protected under applicable domestic and international intellectual property laws.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, DefiLords grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and use the Platform for your personal, non-commercial use. This license does not grant you any rights to reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any Platform Content, except as necessary to use the Platform for its intended purpose.
"DefiLords" and associated logos, designs, and brand elements are trademarks or registered trademarks of DefiLords. Other trademarks, service marks, graphics, and logos displayed on the Platform may be trademarks of their respective owners. You are granted no right or license to use any DefiLords trademark without our prior written consent. Unauthorized use of our trademarks may violate applicable laws and constitute trademark infringement.
You may not, without our express prior written permission: copy, modify, create derivative works from, distribute, transmit, broadcast, or otherwise exploit any Platform Content; remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices from Platform Content; use any automated means to access or collect data from the Platform; frame or mirror any part of the Platform; or reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from the Platform.
If you provide DefiLords with any feedback, suggestions, ideas, or other submissions regarding the Platform ("Feedback"), you grant DefiLords an unrestricted, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, and otherwise exploit such Feedback for any purpose, without compensation or attribution to you. You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to provide such Feedback and to grant the foregoing license.
If you believe that any content on the Platform infringes your copyright, please notify us in writing with details of the alleged infringement. We will respond to valid notices in accordance with applicable copyright laws.
YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, DEFILORDS EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING, COURSE OF PERFORMANCE, OR USAGE OF TRADE.
Without limiting the foregoing, DefiLords makes no warranty that: (a) the Platform will meet your requirements or expectations; (b) the Platform will be available on an uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free basis; (c) any information, content, or data obtained through the Platform will be accurate, complete, or reliable; (d) the quality of any products, services, information, or other material obtained through the Platform will meet your expectations; or (e) any errors in the Platform will be corrected.

All content, information, and materials available through the Platform are for general informational purposes only and should not be construed as professional advice or relied upon as the sole basis for making decisions without consulting primary, more accurate, complete, or timely sources of information.
Any financial information, price data, or market analysis provided through the Platform is provided for informational purposes only and is not intended as a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset. You acknowledge that digital assets are highly volatile and speculative, and you assume all risks associated with your investment decisions.
DefiLords makes no promises, representations, or guarantees regarding potential returns, yields, profits, or other financial outcomes from using the Platform. Past performance is not indicative of future results. Any projected or displayed yields or returns are estimates only and should not be relied upon as guarantees. Actual results may vary significantly and could include total loss of invested capital.
Blockchain technology, smart contracts, and digital assets are relatively new and untested technologies that involve substantial risks. DefiLords makes no warranty regarding the security, reliability, or functionality of blockchain networks, smart contracts, or digital assets. You acknowledge that blockchain systems may be subject to attacks, bugs, vulnerabilities, network congestion, forks, and other risks that could result in loss of assets or access.
DefiLords is not registered with, supervised by, or licensed by any financial regulatory authority. The Platform and services provided are not subject to the protections afforded by regulatory oversight. Digital assets accessible through the Platform may not be legal tender, may not be backed by any government, and accounts and value balances are not subject to deposit insurance or other governmental protections.
Critical Notice: Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties. In such jurisdictions, some of the above exclusions may not apply to you. You should consult with legal counsel to understand how these limitations apply in your jurisdiction.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL DEFILORDS, ITS AFFILIATES, OR ITS OR THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, SERVICE PROVIDERS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PLATFORM.
The exclusion of liability includes, without limitation, damages for: lost profits, lost revenues, lost data, lost savings, loss of business opportunity, business interruption, loss of digital assets, theft or unauthorized access to assets, failure of security measures, trading losses, opportunity costs, or any other economic or consequential loss of any kind.
This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory on which the claim is based, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, statutory liability, or any other basis, and whether or not DefiLords has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF DEFILORDS AND ITS AFFILIATES, AND ITS AND THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, SERVICE PROVIDERS, AND LICENSORS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PLATFORM, SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE AMOUNT OF FEES, IF ANY, YOU HAVE PAID TO DEFILORDS IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE LIABILITY; OR (B) ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS (US$100.00).
You acknowledge and agree that the disclaimers of warranties and limitations of liability set forth in these Terms reflect a reasonable and fair allocation of risk between you and DefiLords, and that these limitations are an essential basis of DefiLords' ability to make the Platform available to you on an economically feasible basis.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless DefiLords and its affiliates, and its and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, service providers, and licensors from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees and court costs) that arise from or relate to: (a) your use of or inability to use the Platform; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any rights of any third party; or (d) your violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
DefiLords reserves the right to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, and you agree to cooperate with DefiLords' defense of such claims. You agree not to settle any such claim without DefiLords' prior written consent.
Important: Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation of certain damages, so some of these limitations may not apply to you. In such cases, DefiLords' liability shall be limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
DefiLords reserves the right to modify, amend, or update these Terms and the Platform at any time. Your continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of any modifications.
We may revise and update these Terms from time to time in our sole discretion. All changes are effective immediately when posted and apply to all access to and use of the Platform thereafter. Material changes will be indicated by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of these Terms. We may also provide notice of material changes through the Platform interface or via email to registered users.
Your continued use of the Platform following the posting of revised Terms means that you accept and agree to the changes. You are expected to check this page frequently so you are aware of any changes, as they are binding on you.
DefiLords reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Platform or any features or portions thereof at any time, temporarily or permanently, with or without notice. We may add or remove functionalities, change fee structures, modify supported protocols or blockchain networks, or implement geographic restrictions or user limitations at our sole discretion.
DefiLords shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Platform or any portion thereof. We recommend that you do not rely exclusively on the Platform for accessing blockchain protocols and maintain alternative means of interaction.
DefiLords reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Platform immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason or no reason, including but not limited to: violation of these Terms; suspected fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity; prolonged inactivity; requests by law enforcement or other government agencies; technical or security issues; or discontinuation of the Platform.
Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including but not limited to ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnification obligations, and limitations of liability.
You may terminate your use of the Platform at any time by simply discontinuing your access to and use of the Platform. Termination does not relieve you of any obligations incurred prior to termination or absolve you of any liability arising from your use of the Platform.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms or the Platform shall be instituted exclusively in the courts of [Jurisdiction], and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
Most concerns can be resolved through good faith communication. If you have a dispute with DefiLords, you agree to first contact us and attempt to resolve the dispute informally by sending a written notice describing the nature and basis of the claim. If we cannot reach an agreement within thirty (30) days, you and DefiLords agree that any dispute shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of [Arbitration Association].
YOU AGREE THAT ANY ARBITRATION SHALL BE CONDUCTED ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT AS A CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. YOU EXPRESSLY WAIVE YOUR RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL AND TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT OR CLASS-WIDE ARBITRATION.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable while preserving its intent as closely as possible.
These Terms, together with any other legal notices or agreements published by DefiLords on the Platform, constitute the entire agreement between you and DefiLords regarding your use of the Platform and supersede all prior or contemporaneous understandings and agreements, whether written or oral, regarding such subject matter.
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or any rights or obligations hereunder, by operation of law or otherwise, without our prior written consent. DefiLords may freely assign or transfer these Terms and any rights and obligations hereunder to any third party without restriction or notice to you.
DefiLords shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance under these Terms due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, accidents, pandemics, network infrastructure failures, strikes, or shortages of transportation facilities, fuel, energy, labor, or materials.
